The Routes
Guadalupe Mountains
Guadalupe Mountains is Texas’ lesser known national park, but it’s certainly one to go visit. It’s a hidden treasure, and one of the Lone Star State’s best kept secrets.
White Sands
White Sands is one of the most spectacular and unique destinations in the National Park system. It’s a long haul from Dallas at just over 9 hours one way, so this is definitely a multi-day trip.
Wine and Dash
Setter’s partnered with a number of Texas wineries to provide, in our not-so-humble opinion, the best wine tasting experience this state has to offer.
Big Bend
This is as classic a road trip as Texas has to offer. Big Bend is Texas’ most well known National Park, and for very good reason. It’s chock full of absolutely spectacular views and activities.
Brazos River
The Brazos River boasts 840 miles of scenic banks, hilly bends, and cool clear water. It played an instrumental role in the shaping of Texas history and an equally important role in the planning of Setter’s route library.
The van and the owners of Setter were so special! We enjoyed every minute of our two week travels and were sad to part with what felt like a home. The interiors are beautifully outfitted and super comfortable. Sleeping in the top tent under the stars was dreamy. We will definitely be renting again in the future. The host was so helpful and gave great tips as well. Thank you Setter Vans for a trip of a lifetime.

The experience was perfect from start to finish. We drove from San Diego to Tahoe. The team was very accommodating and helpful from start to finish to ensure we felt comfortable with operating the van and was flexible based on our schedule. The ride comfortably fit two but easily could fit 4 with the pop up tent and extra seats. We received lots of compliments while on the road. The build is beautiful and new. Was very impressed with how easy it was to drive for a bigger vehicle! Grateful for an epic time renting a campervan!
